Norman Nardini Official e-Newsletter Issue #13 ◊ September 2009 SONG OF THE DEAD UPDATE Filming wrapped up last month on Song of the Dead, Jack Russo’s and Russ Streiner’s (Night of the Living Dead) latest film endeavor. Post-production is taking place as we speak. Shari Richards recently attended a screening and says that Jack and Russ are thrilled with the footage that they shot and are working towards a full-length movie now. In addition to the songs that Shari and Norman performed live in the film, they are now recording a new song in the studio to be used for the ending credits. The Blues Come Blowin In is a song Norman recently wrote that features Shari’s soulful vocal. LABOR DAY WEEKEND Conneaut Lake Park will be rocking this Labor Day Weekend with Bikes, Brews & Blues and the Lovedog. Norman and the band will be performing from 3pm – 6pm this Sunday. This 114 year old historic park is located on Pennsylvania’s largest natural lake, between Pittsburgh and Erie and minutes from Ohio. Admission is free for the show at the Beach Club at Sandy Public Beach. The amusement park is home to the Blue Streak, a classic wooden roller coaster. So bring the kids and spend the last weekend of the summer at the Hotel Conneaut. They will be shooting off the fireworks at 10pm. The Bikes, Brews & Blues concert series is sponsored by 93.3 The Wolf. And Tangled Up in Blues radio host Cornell Bogdon will be the bodacious MC…………Hey, who’s that guido in the speedo!
STILLER NATION Accordion ace Dave Dombroski was recently seen on Monongahela Avenue and there are reports that he was heard humming the melody to Stiller Nation. What up?
