Whitey Takes a Break

After 28 years of service above and beyond, Whitey Clyde Cooper is taking a well-deserved break in the action. We will truly miss his high-level drum work and soulful vocals. Whitey will be spending his time working on his vintage drum business. Contact: www.coopersvintagedrums.com Lucky for us, Mark Stutso recently left his long-time job as the drummer for Jimmy Thackery and the Drivers and has moved to the Pittsburgh area. So, we will be keeping him busy for the rest of 2008!

Bonafide Update

When God Took Paul, Graceland and I Seen Too Much all started taking shape during October’s guitar overdubs. Whitey and Harry added some very cool background vocals to Son of a Gun. We are looking forward to bringing in Mark Stutso for a few additional background vocals in November.

Shop to Stop Domestic Violence

This Sunday, Shari Richards will be joining Norman and the band for a live concert at the Galleria of Mount Lebanon.  The mall will be closed to the general public and ticket sales & proceeds will go to the Women’s Center & Shelter of Pittsburgh to help end domestic violence against women and children. The 6th Annual FUNdraiser starts at 6pm and will include discounts from Galleria merchants, local celebrities in a strolling fashion show, raffles, and complimentary food & beverages from the Galleria restaurants. What a great way to kick off your holiday shopping.  For more information, please visit: www.wcspittsburgh.org
