Boston Waterfront: Boston, Pa.

Beautiful setting, right on the water. Not a big crowd, but a good time was had by all. Whitey played with brushes all night, which helped make this performance unique. Harry didn't feel well, sinus problems, but he did hit all his high vocal parts. We're looking forward to playing this club outside in the summertime.

The Cellar: Struthers, Ohio

Da joint was packed with rock n' roll people. About 700 or so. I was in heaven. My boys, Whitey and Harry were bringing it, yea baby. Here's me shootin off my big mouth. "Boilermaker", "Rockin' Roll City", "Minimum Wage", "Graceland", "We Come A Long Way", "Somethins Cookin", "End Of The Line", "You Go Your Way", "Who Dat Do Dat", "Hells Highway", "Smoke Two Joints". It was easy on this good rockin nite. Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes came on after us and did a great show. Guitar-sub, Ralph, hung in there real well. Ole friend, drummer, Joey Bawls, was hittin it. South Side sang his can off and also played strong harp. I was proud just to be hangin out.

Wilberts: Cleveland, Ohio

We all watched as the Cleveland Cavliers lost a huge playoff game to the Detroit Pistons in a heartbreaker. Ouch, take da wind outta my sails......Not here. Lets lift the spirit of these beautiful people......."Lazybones", "Rockin' Roll City", "White Trash Tragedy", "Graceland"........opened the two hour first set. Set two continued the spritual and musical onslaught. Powerful! Mike Miller, club owner and ole friend, got up onstage to jam some guitar but chickened out.

Moy's Cove: Monroeville, PA

First time at da Cove. I got a good feeling in my soul as we were firein out "Git By", the opening song and that feeling lasted all nite long. "T-Bird" was exceptional. We did a make fresh take on Taj Mahals "Corina" for Doc Weston who we hadn't seen in years.

Moondogs: Blawnox, PA

Tom Breiding and American Son played first tonight and did some serious good rockin. Very cool, very musical, good songs. Everybody enjoyed their set. We came on and did almost two straight hours. Highlights were "Who Dat Do Dat", "You Go Your Way", "Two Story House" and a crazy version of "Burnin Up". I called Tom Breiding up to da stage to sing "Its All Over Now", we had some fun wit dat. We then got Tom's guitar player, Jeff Stevens to sing Chuck Berry's "Memphis", while he played some good sh*t on my ole tiger guitar. Whitey and Harry smiled da whole way thru.

Excuses: South Side-Pgh, PA

"Git By", "Something's Cookin", Boilermaker", We had a whole lot of fun tonight. I was shooting off my big mouth TALKIN LOUD & SAYIN NOTH'IN, it ain't what ya say, its how ya say it. A simple approach that seems to work for me. Harry sang "Pots n' Pans". "Gorilla" & "Here Comes The Weekend" both showed up in the second set as, did "Side Walk Romeo"- the old Silencers classic. Whitey Cooper soul shoutin & Lenny Ferrari, ex Lou Reed drummer on tubs, closed out a very musical and intimate night.
